Please remove all other identifying marks from the score and in the metadata of the file. If possible, also submit a recording in mp3 format of either a live performance or a MIDI rendering. Only one submission per composer will be accepted, and composers of selected compositions are required to attend the conference.

All materials should be submitted electronically to Large files may be shared via file-sharing sites (Dropbox, Google Docs, etc). Include your name, phone number, and email address in the body of your message. Submissions must be received by 11:59pm on July 25, 2018.

Submissions will be reviewed by a member or members of DNMC, plus other members of the Washington, DC-area new music community. Selected compositions will be announced on or by August 13.

Selected compositions will be performed as part of a student composition concert during New Music DC. A second student composition concert may be added, depending on demand, quality of submissions, and available time during the conference.
